The kennels are located in a spacious area of the property and have been built to our own design to provide maximum comfort, freedom, interest and human contact.

Our speciality is large outdoor runs, (probably the largest in Canada) averaging 360 square feet for the medium and large dogs. The small dogs have runs 6 feet by ten feet. The surrounding chain link (six feet high and covered) is to ground level which allows the dogs an uninterrupted view of their neighbours and the movement of humans. Their natural curiosity is well catered to by the presence of human contact, which is so important for their well being.

The runs are gravelled (graded crushed rock), which affords excellent drainage and dries quickly after rain, consequently the dogs never lie on a damp surface. Furthermore, the dog is able to indulge in his natural inclination to dig. The runs are surrounded with a concrete step 6 inches wide and 3 feet into the ground as a safety precaution. All runs are surrounded by trees to give excellent natural shade and pleasant ambience for the dogs.

The inside kennel pens are 4 feet by 5.5 feet for large and medium dogs and are heated by electric cables buried in the concrete floor, acting like radiant heat.

We supply washable mats for the dogs, but owners are encouraged to bring a security blanket and toys for their pets. Restful music is played in each area of the kennel in order to relax the pets. An extensive intercom system is installed throughout the kennel building with direct contact with the house. This allows for 24 hour supervision.

It is the strict policy of the kennel that private accomodation is allocated to each dog, the only exception to this rule are owners with more than one pet who specifically request that their dogs be kept together.
